I've said it before and I'll say it again. I never critique a picture I don't like. Well...almost never. Anyway though I really like this. It has a pleasant symmetry and balance, a dreary yet fanciful color scheme, interesting content, and wounder full proportions. It certainly looks like a scene out of a dream, or part of a story from a book. It seems to a be a kind of tapestry, with its wide and unusual scale adding to the depth of the painting. I look at it, and it is emersing. I for one and pleased with the results. Good work all in all, but it does seem a little rushed, perhaps slow it down a bit next time. Thats all I could say needs improving, overall the quality is quite good.
It's hard to find anything to critique in this. Given the somewhat disturbing nature of some of the subject matter, I would have made the whale's teeth sharper. But that's just me. It's a striking image with wonderful flow and detail.
Amazing and Breathtaking. The whole concept is great, dangerous, haunting, and yet still really mysterious in the kind of way that draws you to it. I love the whale, it's a great focus point and balances out the picture nicely, since all of the other details are rather small. The waves are like awesome little spikes. You did a fantastic job.
